Show Description:

Explore a different view of the world around you. Get up-close and personal with nature and the wonders it contains. This diverse collection features eye-catching, surreal, and breathtaking photographs from two young artists. This show gives a unique perspective of things we see every day, and often overlook.

Personal Statements:

-Angela: Our planet is fascinating, but we get so wrapped up in living that it's easy to overlook the small things. I find my peace in exploring and discovering beauty in unexpected places. From the dew drops nestled in the crevices of flower petals, to the grains of sand on an oyster shell, every tiny thing around us is part of our world, and therefore, a part of us. I hope you take with you a renewed appreciation for all things small and seemingly insignificant. Don't forget to stop and smell the flowers.
-Charlene:
Do not forget that the sky is as likely to spew forth demons as it is to start raining dachshund puppies. Do not forget that the “terrifying” circus clown is far more likely to go home to his wife and kids, than to a torture-dungeon in his basement. Do not forget that when you walk past a mannequin in a shop-window it will not turn its head to watch you go, but rather continue to stand as motionless as it had been before you ever passed by. The world is only a scary place if you make it one; so stop living in fear and start living for fun.
