The Gentle Craft: A Visual Exploration of Masonic Symbolism

Start: Dec. 11, 2016, 1 a.m.

End: Dec. 11, 2016, 4 a.m.

Event at Eridanos

We invite you to join us Saturday, December 10th for the opening reception of The Gentle Craft.

The fraternity of Freemasonry has always been shrouded in secrecy: its traditionals predominantly exchanged through word of mouth from generation to generation. The little information that has been written down has garnered monumental attention from popular culture: symbols playing roles in movies, music, and novels.

On December 10th, local Freemasons explore symbolic themes in their mixed media interpretations.

The list of masonic artists includes:

Ian Adams
Scott Barry
Mark Blanchard
Chris Duggan
Gerry Harrison
Dave Norton
Joseph Skorupa
Joseph "Boo" Thomson
Bob Vanderberg
Andrew Woodbury

“What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal.” - Albert Pike, author of "Morals and Dogma: the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry"

Light refreshments will be provided.
