"The Dark - felt beautiful" is inspired by a line in "Poem 593", by Emily Dickinson. In it, Dickinson explores the power of the female literary tradition, and locates herself within it with a connection to magic, to witchcraft, to madness, to a kind of divine madness, and to transformation.

The work in "The Dark - felt beautiful" explores the power of beauty, of darkness, of surreality through illustration and digital imagery.
