Tats for Tails

Start: July 7, 2017, 10 p.m.

End: July 8, 2017, 1 a.m.

Event at Fuzion Ink Tattoo Studio

Mark your calendar for July 7 when Friends of NACC partners with Fuzion Ink for the first ever Tats for Tails fundraiser and mini-block party!
It has all the makings of a epic event you won't want to miss - friendly dogs, lots of ink, live music, animal service vendors, craft beer and artisan, wood-fired pizza!
Patrons will be able to choose an adorable (and affordable) design during business hours ALL DAY Friday as well as during the three-hour evening event! You will get to choose from one of the many custom flash sheets prepared for the event on a first-come, first-served basis starting at noon. Fuzion artists will have a wide variety of animal tattoos available from the domesticated to the exotic! Costs will range from $50 to $150 per piece, and considering that most of these artists book up quickly, this is a steal. But wait! That’s not even the best part! Anyone who shows up on Friday that Fuzion cannot serve due to an overflow of customers will be allowed to schedule an appointment through Sunday, July 9th and they will receive the same deal. A portion of the proceeds from the day go directly to the Norfolk Animal Care Center to help tons of sweet animals find their fur-ever homes.
Once you have secured an appointment inside Fuzion, stroll to the parking lot directly across from the studio and enjoy the other activities! For those who wish to ink up on a smaller scale, we will have both temporary tattoos and henna tattoos available. For those bringing their (friendly and leashed) canine companions, Muddy Paws will be doing dog tattoos and our friends at Give Treat Love will be on hand with their delicious gourmet dog treats.
Local musician Joe Heilman will be playing throughout the evening. Patrons can enjoy craft beers from Coelacanth and Bearded Bird Brewery (next door to Fuzion) as well as a craft slice from Bodacious Pizza.
Bearded Bird Brewing, a fellow event sponsor, will have live music inside their brewery that night and will be donating a $1 a pint to benefit our furry friends at NACC.
