The Short Vine Association Announces “SPLASH on Short Vine” A Fun, Free, Water-Themed Summer Block Party for All Ages!

Join us for a day of fun in the sun along Short Vine! Splash on Short Vine, hosted by The Short Vine Association, will take place on Saturday, Jun. 18 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

After you check out the giant, family friendly slip-and- slide* at 2631 Jefferson Avenue, check out Splash on Short Vine, just a block away, for family friendly games and more!

While “Slide the City” does require tickets, our SPLASH on Short Vine event offers free admission to all. This event is family friendly and appropriate for all ages. This event is open to the public. Visitors do not need to purchase “Slide the City” tickets to participate in our SPLASH on Short Vine event.

SPLASH on Short Vine Activities:

Little Kid Area: (Corner of Vine St. and Corry St.) Kids will enjoy a close-up view of the Cincinnati Fire Department’s Ladder 19 truck, an Atlantis themed bouncy house, water games such as balloon burst, a fishing pool and watermelon bowling. All our games are free and feature small prizes. We will also offer free ice cream as supplies last!

Main Tent: (Near the center of the 2600 block on Short Vine) Visitors can find information on Short Vine’s businesses, have access to free water, enjoy shade, music and tropical plants as a much needed break from the sun and heat.

Big Kid Area: (Corner of Vine St. and Charlton St.) In our ‘Big Kid’/Adult area, visitors can enjoy giant Plinko as well as a water balloon fight course featuring colorful, tinted water. (Don’t worry, the color will wash out!)

This event is sponsored by The Short Vine Association with participation from New Belgium Brewery.

Parking: There are 4 public parking lots located near this area. Please use Euclid Avenue to access these lots via E. Corry St., E. Charlton St. and E. Daniels St.
