Please mark your calendars for a very special donation event on May 6th!

She was warned. She was given an explanation. Nevertheless, she persisted." This was the line delivered by McConnell after Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren read a letter written 30 years ago by Coretta Scott King, the widow of Martin Luther King Jr., opposing the nomination of Jeff Sessions for a federal judgeship. "Nevertheless, she persisted" has since become a battle cry for women's rights across the globe.

Hours after going public about the "Nevertheless She Persisted" tattoo event, over 100 people pre- registered with deposits. The event is being held on May 6, 2017 at Fallen Owl Tattoo Studio in Lakewood, CO. Fallen Owl Tattoo will be tattooing the inspiring phrase "Nevertheless, She persisted" on those donating to the cause. Although the event has already capped out at 100 pre-registered tattoos, the community group will also be offering temporary tattoos and accepting donations. In addition, nearby shops will be offering a percentage of their sales being donated to She Should Run. The event is expected to raise over $5,500 for She Should Run.
