"People I Know" - Blaze's opening reception!

"People I Know" features portrait paintings by tattoo artist Blaze Schwaller of Spirit Gallery Tattoo. This is Blaze's first show in her studio since moving the business to New London in 2009. It is going to be fun!

At the opening reception on Saturday October 6th, florist Michael Dodd will be decorating Blaze in a fun outfit of flowers, including floral hat and shoes!

Paintings of the people Blaze knows will include several of the Spirit Gallery Tattoo staff as well as her friends and family. Most of the people in the paintings will be at the artist reception, so come on down and check it out!

Blaze says, " I love painting and tattooing portraits, it is a passion for me! I like creating a story with the paintings and letting the character of a person come through in the piece. It's always an honor to paint a person or to tattoo them, and this show gets to display my work in paint that I do when I am not tattooing folks in the chair.
