Start: Jan. 8, 2017, midnight

End: Jan. 8, 2017, 4 a.m.

Event at THE TELL TALE HEART Tattoo & Gallery

Burlington, ON — On January 7 2017, The Tell Tale Heart Tattoo & Gallery is proud to present the Nat Jones solo art show OMENS — his premiere series of gothic paintings. Jones is most well known for his stunning illustration work in comics and film alongside genre heavy hitters such as Steve Niles (30 Days of Night) and Rob Zombie (Halloween). OMENS is his first collection of original large scale paintings and features images inspired by Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, the television series Penny Dreadful, as well as the first-ever painting of his popular bat-cat design.

“I have always felt at home with dark imagery,” says Jones about the collection. “There is something in the shadows, lurking just beyond what can be seen that I find very inviting. My work is an invitation to the viewer to explore those dark recesses together.”

The OMENS opening reception will take place on January 7, 2017 at 7PM. Featuring: Free fortune telling by oracle/mystic Madame Theadora! This is a catered and licensed event, 18+ only. We will be staying open late and would love to see all of our regular clients at the party. Members of the press are welcome to attend. OMENS will run through February 7, 2017. Gallery Hours: Monday-Saturday, 12-6pm. More images available upon request.
