This March Frist Friday, our featured artist is Saquoia Penelope.
Saquoia has been an artist her whole life, through many different mediums. She is a dancer, a vocalist, a clown, trained in theatre, and also in drawing, painting, sculpting, and more.
Over the past few years, she has been narrowing down her creativity towards burlesque, and painting. This art show is a collection of her most recent work, strongly influenced by her burlesque life and the whimsy of her character,

"I try to use as many different mediums as possible, but painting has always been one of the closest to my heart. This particular series is a sort of study in surrealism, using blue tones to tie them together with an aspect of calm fantasy."
