Join us Friday night for Artwalk Gainesville during FEST from 7-10pm to see Skateboard influenced artwork created by Ben Andrews, Charles Dudding (Chuck from Hell) & Chad Sanchez.

The art on display shows the basic skateboard plank can be used as substrate for creating sculptures. These boards have been skated by the artist and are recycled as wall hanging pieces. The seven layers of hardwood maple have been shaped and sanded to show the subject matter in ways only the layer striations and wood grain can provide. By the artist leaving alone some of the planks original characteristics, it brings the smooth curves and lines together with reality that this art was previously THRASHED!
