5th Annual Remembrance Day Poppy Drive

Start: Nov. 11, 2015, 4 p.m.

Event at Urge Tattoos

In support of our military both past and present, Urge will be giving away poppy tattoos on Nov 11th by donation immediately following the Moment of Silence at 11AM. The moment will be observed by our line-up and staff, after-which we will move into the shop and get started.

Come by the shop this Remembrance Day to show your support for our service men, women and families!

This is a special year as a number of other studios are joining us; The Burly Beard (Rockey Mountain House) and Incendiary Tattoo (Esquimalt) plan to hold their own Poppy Drives as well.

Once again this November 11th Urge Tattoos will be honouring Canada's standing, fallen and retired vets with a full day of Poppy Tattoos! What better way to honour our brave soldiers, airmen and sailors -- past and present -- than a poppy tattooed in remembrance?

Never be caught without a poppy in November again.

Urge Tattoos honours the foundations of our fair nation and city: our military. All are welcome and invited to the shop on November 11th where we will be toiling throughout the entire day to give as many poppy tattoos as humanly possible. Service will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Let's shut down Cook Street with the turn out again: Please share this event, tell your friends, their friends, their acquaintances and those they know in passing. Tell strangers, lovers, neighbours, grocers and pets -- lets show our brothers & sisters, service men and women, as well as their families, how much we appreciate their sacrifice by wearing the symbol of it every day.

There will be food and coffee courtesy of Peterson's Rentals.
