Come celebrate the birthday of Kewpie creator Rose Cecil O'Neill this June 25, 2017 at Showcase Tattoo with $50 Kewpie tattoos! 50% of the proceeds will go to our local Planned Parenthood! With over 300 Kewpie head designs (horror, comic book, cartoon and sci-fi inspired kewpie heads) released from the Showcase Tattoo Vault, including some of the original Rose O'Neill style Kewpies and a Rose inspired kewpie design, you, too, can be the proud adorned Kewpieville! You will not find a larger selection of Kewpies, not only in Bakersfield, but ANYWHERE in the Galaxy!

Wait! Who is Rose O'Neill? You don't know? Well, my strange friends, Rose was an American cartoonist, illustrator, artist, writer and activist (ever hear of Womens Sufferage?) who was known the world over for her popular (and adorable) comic strip characters, Kewpies! With 30 years of popularity in her lifetime, the Kewpie has had a second life as a regular resident of tattoo flash all over the world (including Your Favorite Pint-Size Tattooer own tattoo flash)! Rose's creation lives on through Kewpie enthusiasts internationally and tattooing and can live on through you, too!
